Pprance fashion academy is a premium fashion education institution geared with the vision to empower the next fashion moguls with the tools, tactics, knowledge that will make them sought after fashion entrepreneurs.

OUR WHY:

We have encountered several talented fashion enthusiasts who do not know how to convert their passion for fashion into a business to grow the Nigerian economy, there is a need to have more entrepreneurs who can contribute to the economy through their business initiatives. Entrepreneurs are the real heroes of the Nigerian economy.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

The Certificate in Fashion Design Course.
Equip young men and women with the basic principles and fundamental techniques of fashion design and business management through programmes that strike a unique balance between illustrative classroom and interactive on-the-job training delivered through facilitation, presentation slides and case studies so that a fair mix of the theorical knowledge and familiarities is achieved to foster learning by doing.
Improve skills and entrepreneurial competitiveness among young men and women, through informative keynote presentation, lively panel debates and Q & A sessions, education and mentorship.
Identify, honour promote and encourage grass root entrepreneurial excellence and to heighten public awareness of its impact on the Nigerian, African and Global economy.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will have:

CRITERIA FOR ASSESSMENT:

  1. The outcome of the programme will be assessed using evidence from practical activities, which take the following forms:
  2. Practical exercises, using different fabrics designed to assess the skills of the trainee in using the basic elements of design in their work.
  3. A workbook that will demonstrate knowledge in support of the practical exercises, which may include patterns, samples, sketches, notes, ideas e.t.c
  4. At the end of each topic, your tutor in discussion with you will complete a record sheet of your progress as you achieve each of the outcomes. You may request to see this.
